Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2025
Overview
EmojiLoop ("we", "our", "the site") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. The short version: we collect almost nothing and sell nothing.
Data We Do Not Collect
We do not require you to create an account. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information. Clipboard operations (copying emoji) happen entirely in your browser and no copied content is transmitted to our servers.
Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting analytics (e.g., aggregate page view counts) to understand which emoji and pages are popular. These analytics do not track individual users, do not use persistent cookies for tracking, and do not build personal profiles.
Cookies
EmojiLoop uses only essential technical cookies required for the site to function. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings without affecting core functionality.
Advertising
We may display contextual advertisements (e.g., Google AdSense) to support the free service. Ad networks may set their own cookies governed by their own privacy policies. You can opt out of personalized ads via Google Ad Settings.
Third-Party Services
Our emoji data is sourced from the Unicode Consortium. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may log requests according to Google's privacy policy.
Data Retention
Since we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to retain or delete. Server logs (standard web access logs) may be kept for up to 30 days for security and debugging purposes, after which they are automatically deleted.
Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
If you are located in the EU or California, you have rights regarding personal data. Since we do not collect personal data, most rights are satisfied by default. If you have questions or concerns, contact us at the address below.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of EmojiLoop after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
